I am a twenty-eight year old nobody from the United States who happens to be a recovering drug addict. I am also a college student working on my Bachelor's in New Media Communications. I'm really not all that different from any of you. I love playing guitar and writing music ♫, listening to music ♫, playing video games, writing, blogging, designing websites, scripting (programming), going to school, learning, and reading. I absolutely adore reading. I've probably read several thousand books in my lifetime. One of my favorite novels that I'm re-reading for the three hundredth time is Sewer, Gas and Electric by Matt Ruff. It's a fantastic book. Pick it up from your local bookstore if they have it.

When I was a child, my dream was to become a psychologist. I think it was the whole "sitting in a chair and listening to people talk for $150 an hour" thing that really captured my imagination. Now that I'm an adult and have taken several psychology courses, I've realized that the only branch of psychology that's based on scientific evidence is behavioral psych, and dealing with mentally disturbed patients really isn't my forté. I have enough mental disturbances myself without taking on everyone else's shit.
